Kinkajoo

Meet the Kinkajoos (Our Kinkajoos are spelled with two o’s… it just seemed more fun that way)
Fact: An average adult kinkajou’s length is 17-22 inches, about the height of these sturdy and whimsical stools, although they are also excellent end tables. And since Kinkajous tend to sleep in family units, a small cluster of our Kinkajoos also serve as a charming coffee or cocktail table.

In your home
Kinkajous are sometimes kept as pets. They are playful, generally quiet and docile and have no noticeable odor. Our Kinkajoos have the added benefit of being 100% house trained. And they will work much better next to your Italian sofa than the furrier version would.

Diet
Kinkajous enjoy bananas, pineapples, nectar, honey, insects, grapes, mangos, melons, and peas. They live an average of about 23 years in captivity, with a maximum recorded life span of over 55 years.
Our Kinkajoos enjoy an occasional damp cloth. With even less frequency, treat them to a nice quality finishing wax. Keep the other stuff for your fruit salad (except the insects, even at Monte Azul we are not that adventurous). With minimum care, our Kinkajoos will be enjoyed by generation after generation.

Behavior
During the day a kinkajou will find a hollowed out limb or tree trunk to sleep in, hence the hole in our Kinkajoo. Kinkajous dislike being awake during the day, and dislike noise and sudden movements. An agitated kinkajou may emit a scream and attack, usually clawing its victim and biting deeply. Our Kinkajoos are 100% docile 24 hours, day and night. Go ahead and make all the sudden movements you like! They will never bite you for it.
