Our challenge was to create a line of furniture for Café Blue, our in-house restaurant. Keeping in mind our dedication to our community and environment, we needed to also compliment the casual elegance of Café Blue.

With inspiration from our own Phoenix Collection, we began with a pile of scrap wood, saved from construction sites. After a few prototypes, an elegant silhouette emerged that could seat up to four people comfortably. It did not take very long for our guests to ask about purchasing a set for home. Except for the back leg section on the chairs, every piece of wood is from 100% refuse wood destined for firewood.

The finish is also 100% derived from natural products (bees wax and linseed oil) and hand rubbed for a lovely, durable and easy to care for surface.

The Café chairs are covered in a durable microfiber faux suede, with a selection of colors based on availability.
